Blown head gasket
Hi all. I have a 1946 Vauxhall 10-4. Number plate FDU 400. The engine stopped turning over and I left it in storage for a year. When I went back water was everywhere. I removed the head and water was in all 4 cylinders. I have a replacement gasket but I can’t  get them cylinders free. I’ve soaked it with penetrating oil, rocked it back and forth in gear and still nothing. Am I missing something? I simply  took the head off, I left the  carburettor , manifold and rocker arm on the the head and the push rods in their position in the block. Is there anything else I’m not considering?

Thanks in advance
